Summary

Consider Claister for client-period coordination, reviewed document returns and human-controlled follow-ups in a pilot. Consider Financial Cents when its chosen plan's automation, client portal, billing or published integrations are important to your operating model. This is Claister's source-based comparison, not an independent ranking.

01

Test requests end to end

Include a partial return, correction and acceptance in both demonstrations.

02

Separate Team from Scale

Financial Cents lists additional automation and integrations in Scale.

03

Check your actual ecosystem

A published US tax integration does not imply support for your Lithuanian ledger.

Use the same scope for both products

Financial Cents publishes workflow and to-do lists, client tasks, portal, time tracking and other capabilities on its plan page. Its workflow page describes accounting work management. The right comparison depends on the plan and client workflow you intend to adopt.

Client work

Claister
Recurring client/period tasks, checklist templates and preserved cycles.
Financial Cents
Published workflow lists and automation. Demonstrate recurrence and history with your own period model.

Document requests

Claister
Itemized requests, a client portal and explicit accountant acceptance of returns.
Financial Cents
Published client tasks, requests, portal and secure file sharing. Test review and correction, not just uploading.

Follow-up automation

Claister
Suggested editable follow-ups; a person controls sends.
Financial Cents
Scale lists automatic client-task follow-ups and email updates. Confirm conditions and stopping behavior.

Time and reporting

Claister
Saved effort by client, task and person, with separate estimate-based planning.
Financial Cents
Published time tracking, budgeting and reporting; Scale lists profitability reports. Demonstrate the exact financial inputs behind a report.

Integrations

Claister
Confirm the pilot's exact supported connection. Claister does not file or post to your accounting ledger.
Financial Cents
The plan page names QuickBooks Online, and Scale lists additional storage, API and US tax integrations. Verify your own system and plan.

Commercial scope

Claister
A pilot with manual configuration; current staff UI is English and Russian.
Financial Cents
Published billing, proposals and e-signatures sit alongside workflow. Include them in the test if they are part of the engagement.

Read the commitment and minimum team size

The Financial Cents page identifies Solo as single-user, states that all plans have a 12-month agreement, and notes a five-user minimum for monthly billing. Scale lists additions such as auto-follow-ups, task dependencies, a branded client portal and storage integrations. Confirm the contract and chosen billing option directly. Financial Cents pricing.

Claister publishes Solo at €19/month or €190/year, and Team at €24/person/month or €240/person/year. These are the site's published plans; confirm pilot access and commercial terms with Claister. Compare the competitor's quote in the same currency and tax basis, adding onboarding, migration and any services you would keep. Claister pricing.

Compare one full year for the number of people who need access. Include the plan needed for your reminders and integrations, plus signing, payment or storage costs that remain outside it. Do not treat an annual agreement billed monthly as the same commercial commitment as a flexible monthly plan.

Define a measurable small pilot

  • Choose a routine bookkeeping client and one whose documents tend to arrive late.
  • Create the same itemized request and deadline in each tool.
  • Return one correct file and one incomplete file; review and request a correction.
  • Track actual staff time and inspect the period history.
  • Connect only the integrations you need, then test export and access boundaries.

Measure whether staff can find the next action and whether the client understands what is outstanding. Keep a Financial Cents setup that already supports your workflow and adopted integrations. Consider Claister after the pilot proves the scope you actually need. For other options, read the Financial Cents alternatives article.

Questions

Are automatic follow-ups included in every Financial Cents plan?

The consulted page lists auto-follow-ups for client tasks among Scale additions. Verify the current tier and trigger behavior for your proposed subscription.

Can I assume a Rivilė or other local ledger integration?

No. Ask for the exact integration, direction, data objects and failure handling. A list of QuickBooks or US tax integrations does not prove support for your Lithuanian system.

Has Claister tested Financial Cents hands on?

This page reports official information consulted on 8 October 2026. It does not claim access to or hands-on testing of a Financial Cents account.
